The official website for J.C Staff's upcoming original figure skating anime "Skate-Leading Stars" posted a new promotional video which includes the new airdate, cast, actual scenes from the anime, and the opening song. Skate-Leading Stars was originally supposed to air this summer but was delayed becuse of the ongoing pnademic and is now set to begin airing in January 2021. Skate-Leading Stars is a story about high school students competing in an original figure skating team competition called "Skate-Leading". Kensei Maeshima quit figure skating in his early youth after a harsh comment by a rival but, as Kensei is incredibly athletic and graceful, he joins many differnt sports clubs at school and lives a chill life. One day, he finds out his old rival is now involved in Skate-Leading and he is invited by an old skating acquaintance to do the same.
