A pattern to sew and make a geometric pattern patchwork quilt yoga mat topper. The back of the quilt has pocket corners to hold the quilt onto the yoga mat. The design with it’s central contrasting block and geometric patterns expanding outwards was inspired by having a point to gaze at on a yoga mat, and thus was named the “Drishti” Yoga mat quilt. The quilt size is designed to fit a standard size yoga mat (180cm long by 61cm wide) , but instructions are given to adjust to different sized yoga mats. Perfect for a slower yoga practice to add a warm layer on top of your yoga mat, and pure bliss for a long relaxation. SKILL LEVEL Advanced beginner to Intermediate (requires patchwork and quilting skills). ARE SEAM ALLOWANCES INCLUDED? Yes, All patchwork templates include seam allowance WHAT SIZES CAN I MAKE? Finished quilt size: 70 cm wide x 182cm 9 (including binding) Tips for making a longer/shorter/wider quilt to fit different sized yoga mats are included. WHAT TYPE OF FABRIC SHOULD I USE? 100% cotton suitable for quilting, and cotton wadding HOW MUCH FABRIC WILL I NEED? Fabric amounts (based on 106cm width quilting cotton fabric and includes extra for binding strips): white/cream: 125cm grey: 75cm yellow: 75cm orange: 50cm blue: 12cm square backing fabric: 2 metres Wadding requirement: 1 x 2 metres (if making a larger quilt size, add 20cm to length and 20cm to width larger than quilt top size).
