Colleen and I are very fortunate to have a relative who is supportive of our doll hobby. Ray always keeps his eyes out at the town transfer station for dolls/doll stuff that gets thrown out. A few weeks before Christmas that year, Ray saw a man dumping doll cars and other toys into one of the compactors. He jumped at the chance to inspect the load, and discovered a bunch of dollies. He pulled each one out of the compactor, as well as a few other items that tagged along, and set them aside at his house. Prior to the "Christmas Miracles Lot," Colleen and I had not gotten any Bratz that were thrown out, from Ray.
