Description

In 2010, HSCPH made a strategic decision to have our fleece material, which is still produced in Italy, OEKO-TEX® certified in class 1. This was one of our initial steps in the fight against chemicals not only in textiles but also in our environment. Today, we produce our designs in a specially crafted fleece quality with 30% viscose, viscose jersey, and organic cotton. A STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certification is the consumer's guarantee that there are no harmful substances in the purchased item from a certified supplier. Certification can be applied for in four different classes, where class 1 is the purest and approved for baby clothing and baby toys. There is a jungle of certifications, broadly categorized into groups. The EU Flower, Nordic Swan Ecolabel, GOTS, and OEKO-TEX® are among the few certifications controlled by an independent third party.
