As the braid is expanded to cover the bundle you will experience a shrinkage of the braid length. The greater the expansion that you require to go over your bundle, the greater lengthways shrinkage you will experience.Also remember to make an allowance if your cable has plugs on it!To avoid frayed ends you should terminate with cable ties, adhesive tape or (ideally) for a completely professional look use some heat shrink sleeving - check out our shop for the full range of suitable heatshrink.
